Annabelle Sue "Ann" Hediger, 81, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 9:45 PM, Monday, August 09, 2021 at SBL Fayette County Hospital.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia with Rev. Joe Lawson officiating.
Mrs. Hediger was born on December 20, 1939 in Vandalia, IL to Irvin Gerald and Marian Louise (Noling) Probst; she was raised by her grandparents, Raymond and Hilda Noling. Annabelle married James D. "Jim" Hediger on February 28, 1981; together they celebrated 33 years of marriage before his passing om December 22, 2014.
Ann was a realtor and broker for various companies throughout the years; working many years at Century 21 and finally retiring from Coldwell Banker in Highland. Ann loved her family and her getaways. She enjoyed going to Florida yearly and finding seashells on the beach. Most of all, she valued spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Bradley Sidwell and wife Nikki and Gregory Sidwell and wife Debbie, both of Brownstown; daughters, Jill Wright and significant other, Maurice Wilson of Vandalia, Chantel and husband Bill Houba of Edwardsville, Andrea and husband Jim Reavis of Vandalia, and Alicia and husband Eric Brower of Moro; sisters, Carolyn Kershaw, Phyllis Schaal, Kathy Schaal, Jeanie Marty, and Lisa Cearlock; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, biological parents, and her husband.
