Sharen Lee Artlip, 66, of Elliott, Iowa, died Monday morning, October 3, 2005 at her home in Elliott.
Sharen Lee Cable was born on April 29, 1939 at rural Griswold, the daughter of Furnis Dale and Olive Mildred (Silkett) Cable. She graduated from Griswold High School in 1956 and on December 17, 1956, was married to Robert G Artlip at the Methodist Church in Griswold. To this union, two daughters were born.
Survivors include her husband Robert, her two daughters, and her two granddaughters. Also a special friend and niece, Kay Keeton of Elliott survives.
Preceding Sharen in death were her parents, her brother Dean Cable, and her sisters Karen Sudmann and Lea Lou in infancy.
Respecting Sharen's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
