Dorothy was born in Camden, NJ, December 26,1926, to Harry and Bertha Peterson. She predeceased by her sister Lorraine Weir.

She grew up in Camden and married john Stanton after he return from the war. She had three children John Stanton of Berlin, NJ, Cindy Heitmann of Fort Myers, Florida, and Karen Fritz of Atco, NJ. She leaves behind 7 grand children and 10 great grand children. And two more on the way.

She lived in Woodbury, NJ, after marriage then Medford Lakes, NJ, for most of her life then on to Atco, NJ, and the last 7 years in Fort Myers, Florida.

She enjoyed her gardening, sewing and church. She was the proprietor of the Sew Bee in Medford, NJ, for many years. Work at Resorts International for 15 years. She was a Sunday school teacher at Cathedral of the Wood for a number of years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, August 17 from 10:30 - 11:00 AM at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ. A service will be held on Tuesday, August 17 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville, NJ.
