She had lived all of her life near West Point. She had attended West Point school. She was a homemaker. During World War II she worked at ALCOA in Lafayette. In her earlier life she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She was a member of the West Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughters Norma Lucille Davis, Odell, Georgia Viola Hercamp, Seymour; sons Robert Kerr, Canyon Lake; Calif., Thomas E. Kerr, Richard G. "Pete" Kerr and Charles Edward Kerr, all of West Point, Harry Irvin Kerr, Lafayette; 32 grandchildren; 63 greatgrandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Scot Shelburne officiating. Burial was in Marks Cemetery, near West Point. Contributions can be made to the West Point Baptist Church." - Fountain County Neighbor, May 5, 1998
