Elaine Belle Burns died at the age of 93. She lived in California and Colorado. She died on August 10, 2021. Elaine was born on September 6, 1927, in Reedsville, West Virginia to Alonzo Ball and Ethel Molissee Ball. She had eight sisters. Elaine married Charles Norman Burns on June 30, 1946 in Oakland, Maryland. She volunteered for over 30 years for several organizations including The Senior Citizens, The Salvation Army, her church, and many food pantries as well. Elaine retired from Chaffee College. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, flowers, traveling and dancing. She was a member of several churches in her long life. She loved all her church families. She is survived by her granddaughters Terilyn Burns, Heather Neilson, Anna Burns; grandson Michael Burns; great-grandkids: Brittany Sanchez, Amber Monroe, Teryn Monroe, Darrin Monroe, Tyler Koch, Jack and Danielle Neilson; great-great grandkids: Isaac, Naomi, Vanessa and Elijah Sanchez, Kevin and Bryan Romero, Noah Monroe and Ryden and Roman Monroe; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. She will be missed by all. Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 1/2 years, Charles Norman Burns on November 14, 1998, her daughter Judith Burns, son Ronald Burns and all her sisters. Draper's Mortuary will be in charge of all arrangements. Place of Interment is Bellevue Mausoleum.
