Mrs. Lois Hawks Burcham, age 79 of Woodlawn, VA went to be with her heavenly father on August 14, 2021.
Lois was born in Carroll County, VA July 21, 1942 to the late Posey and Mary Ruth Hawks. She was a loving wife for almost 56 years, a dedicated Christian who loved to worship and was very active in the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Muncie Hawks, a sister; Carlene Hawks and a son in law; Mike Osborne.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd Burcham of the home, a son; Lloyd Burcham Jr. of Woodlawn, VA., her daughters; Marsha Anderson and husband Clayton of Independence, VA and Beth Austin and husband James of Austinville, VA., her brothers; Phillip Hawks and wife Sandy of Dublin, VA and Rodger Hawks and wife Judy of Roanoke, VA., her sisters; Mary Alice Russell and husband Ted of Fancy Gap, VA, Norma Allen of Fancy Gap, VA. and Ima Johnson and husband Dale of Galax, VA. a sister in law Carol Hawks of Fancy Gap, VA. her grandchildren Ethan Osborne and Marisa Westberry, her great grandchildren; Michael Osborne, Bentley Westberry, her step great grandchildren Cameron Swinney and Finley Westberry, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 18. 2021 at High Country Services with Rev. Pete Hawks and Marisa Westberry officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn UMC Cemetery, Woodlawn, VA.
