Mrs. Bertha Mae Prince, 66, passed away in Pawnee on Sunday, May 16, and services were held Wednesday, May 19.

Born November 11, 1904 in Pawnee, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Orbie Barnes. On August 1933, she married Arthur Prince at Des Moines, Iowa. They moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, from Pawnee in November of that year. He passed away in March of 1958. She returned to Pawnee in November of 1970 to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Robert LeForce, north of town.

Other survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Clinton Jensen of Kryburn, Idaho, and 3 grandchildren and 2 sisters and 5 brothers: Gertie Barnes and Lee Barnes, both of Pawnee, Mrs. Zeda Walker, Sr., George Barnes and Bennie Barnes, all of Oklahoma City, plus Barney and Hubert Barnes of Kingman, Kansas.

Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at the Poteet Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jim Warnock of the Masham Baptist Church. Internment was in Highland Cemetery under direction of the Poteet Funeral Home.
