Henry "Glenn" Green, 83, of Omega passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Green at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Salem Memorial Gardens, where he was laid to rest. The Rev. Andy Ring will officiate. The family received friends on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Salem Memorial Gardens from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Born July 13, 1938, in Ty Ty, Mr. Green was the son of the late William Henry Green and Eloyce Green. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Sherry Batten; one brother, Marion Green; and one sister, Barbara McClendon. Mr. Green was President of Green Industries, Inc. of Tifton for forty-three years.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Resa Faye Vickers Green of Omega; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dane and Lisa Green, Kevin Green and Keith and Suzanne Green, all of Omega; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Robert Davis of Tifton and Kimberly and Ricky Joyner of Omega; two brothers and their spouses, Rodney and Judy Green of Tifton and Max and Carol Green of Eldorado; three sisters and their spouses, Linda Stinchcomb and Martine and Johnny Hill, all of Tifton and Diane and John Reade of Ty Ty; fifteen grandchildren and their spouses; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
