Majorie Sue 'Long' was the daughter
of Mr. Ray A. Long and Jessie Leona

She was the grandaughter of Rev. Isaiah
Henry Maples Long and Margaret Irene
'Ketron' Long; Mr. Frank Dillinger and
Mrs. Amanda Elizabeth 'King' Dillinger.

Marge Sue married Thomas Rhodes on March
25, 1951. It was on a Easter Sunday
afternoon at the First Baptist Church in
Afton, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma. It was a lovely
wedding and they held the reception at our
parents home. I was her flower girl. Our
Uncle Rev. Buddy Roberts married them.

To this union were born 5 children: Their
oldest Randy, then they had twin daughters
which were born and died the sameday. The
twin daughters are buried together, at Oak
Hill, Galena,Kansas by their grandparents,
Mr. Clinton Rhodes and Mrs. Maude 'Baker'
Rhodes.

Children:
Randall Leon, Robert Kent, Raye Anne

Sister of:
Bobby Ray
Wilkie LeRoy
Phyllis Ann

Marge Sue was a loving & devout Christain. She was a charter member of the Southeast Baptist Church, Commerce, Oklahoma.
Marge Sue was the Church Pianist, a Sunday School Teacher,
and active in the W. M. U. She was a seamtress & wedding
consultant, owning her own shop. She was 1/64 Cherokee. Marge loved sports, enjoyed watching her grandsons play ball, she was their number one fan. Also she
took great pride in her one & only grandaughter's achievements. She loved to entertain her family & friends
at all holidays. Her kitchen was always decorated & had
sweet treats for all occasions. Marge was my big sister,
the best, I truly admired her. We had many lovely memories
of our loving parents and brother. We enjoyed visiting, shopping and just enjoying each other's company. I don't know which one of us talked the most! LOL I was always
proud that I was her little sister and I loved her with
all my heart. Marge certainly was my best friend, I'll miss
her everyday for the rest of my life.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother
& grandmother. She is missed by all her family & friends.
After Tom died, Marge Sue later married Bill Chrisman in
Commerce, Ok. They enjoyed the company of their families & friends.

Marge's death was sudden, do to heart complications.

My dear friends, loved ones and visitors,
I want to thank all of you for leaving a
note and flowers on my sweet sisters Memorial
page.
