Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. today at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, with a parish prayer at 7:30 p.m. The Christian Mothers will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. today at Cathedral Church.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, with burial in Catholic Cemetery.
She is survived by daughters Mrs. Alphonse (Rosella) Ubl of Savage, Mrs. Paul (Elizabeth) Kubiszewski of Porter and Mrs. James (Shirley) Carrier of Waconia; sons Norbert and Jerome of New Ulm, Donald of Hammond, Wis., and James of North Mankato; 52 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, Sept. 7, 1951; three sons and a daughter.
She was born Dec. 21, 1892, in Albin Township, Brown County, to John and Mary (Keim) Sperl. She was married to Charles Hauser June 22, 1915 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. They farmed near Sleepy Eye until 1925, when they moved to New Ulm. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and for the past three years had resided at Waconia Health Care Center.
