He is the son of the late Andrew J. Booth, Jr. and Bethyl Way Booth. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Williams Booth and a brother Tommy Booth.
Funeral services for Robert will be held at 4:30PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 610 Macedonia Church Rd. Monroe, NC 28112. Family will receive friends and family at 4:00PM until 4:30PM at the church prior to the service. Burial will be at Macedonia Church Cemetery.
Robert was an Industrial Engineer with Conbraco in Pageland, SC, retiring in the mid 1990's. He also loved working on cars and all types of woodworking.
Robert is survived by two daughters, Susan Lynette Parker (Greer) of Yadkinville, NC and Deborah Lynn Snyder (Jim) of Hamptonville, NC; brothers, Andy Booth, III, Monroe, NC and Don Booth, Indian Trail, NC; three sisters, Betty Lee, Monroe, NC, Barbara Jean Gurley, Monroe, NC and Patsy Stitt, Waxhaw, NC; two grandchildren Tommy Parker and Brooke Lamberth (Adam); one great-grandchild Emory Rose Lamberth.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to American Diabetes Association, 1300 Baxter Street, Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 28202.
