LEWISTON, Idaho – Funeral services will be here Tuesday at 11 a.,. for Frank Atwood, 71, former Lewiston resident, who was visiting his son, Robert Atwood, at Burley. Death was due to a heart attack.

He was a retired railroad mail clerk, and since his retirement had been living at Phoenix, Ariz..

Mr. Atwood was born at Canton, Ill., Jan. 14, 1893, and came west as a youth. He received his schooling at Lewiston and Moscow..

He was married to Bessie Gleason Jan. 30, 1913, at Orofino, and she survives him at Phoenix..

Other survivors include another son, James, of Long Beach, Calif., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren..

The Rev. Eric Kallis will officiate at the services at Brower Wann Memorial Chapel, with the Masonic Order at Moscow in charge of committal services at the Moscow City Cemetery at 2 p.m.
