Sara Jo Kearce White West, age 85 of East Dublin, passed away at her home Friday, August 20, 2021.  Mrs. West was born in McRae, to the late John Jackson Kearce and the late Willie Pearl Rawlins Kearce. She graduated from McRae-Helena High School.  After school she worked in McRae at a dime store and at Roydon Wear making Men's pants.  She also worked in accounting for GMAC for 40 years, with Peacock Chevrolet in Dublin and then Pitts Buick and Pontiac.  She was a member of Pinehill Church since 1965 where she taught Bible School, Sunday School,  teaching children and adults. She loved cooking, gardening, and studying the Bible.  Member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 175.

In Addition to her parents, Sara Jo was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Gene White, and James O. West, a brother, Johnny Kearce, a sister, Ruby Spires, stepson, James O. West.

Survivors include her children, Mike White of Houston, TX, Phillip White of East Dublin, Sandra (Danny) Paul of East Dublin, stepchildren, Jan (Wayne) Scott of Tampa FL, Darrel West of Glenwood, grandchildren, Demetri (Jennifer) White, Stephani (Reese) Smith, Phillip (Marrisa) White Jr., Deidre (Eric) Lintelmann, Nicholas (Sally) White, Karla (Nathan) Mullis, Thomas Gene (Macy) Mason, 14 grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. West will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, at Pinehill Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.   Rev. Allen Heath will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to give a special Thank-you to Regency Southern Hospice Care, for the compassionate care they gave Sara Jo.
