AKERY
Steve Akery, 45, of Dixon, died at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2003, in the University Hospitals & Clinics, Columbia, following complications from a brain hemorrhage.
He was born November 16, 1957, at Dixon, a son of Dennis and Laverne (Burns) Akery. He was married September 2, 1977, in Dixon, to Cynthia Faith Brumble, who survives.
Survivors include: two sons, Heath Akery & Brian Akery; a daughter, Stephanie Keeth; one grandson, Dylan Michael Akery; three brothers, Bill Akery, Larry Akery; Darryl Akery; one sister, Sharon Sparks.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, and 9-11 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
