Audrey J. (Walters) Blyler, 90, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Anna Leaper. She married Ray E. "Rocky" Blyler in 1973, who preceded her in death in 2014.

Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Moist; two sons: RJ Rhodes and Ray E. Jr.; two grandsons: Bradley and Brandon; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marsha Shaver.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard in 2015 and a brother, Marty.

Audrey was a nanny for Dr. and Mrs. Michael and Beth Vipond, where she nannied Nicholas and Hanna.

Audrey attended Dry Run Independent Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her Bible.

All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.

Harry Walters was not Audrey's father. Her mother was the employee (servant) of Samuel Glunt, and had several children with him. She also had several with her husband. They were all interspersed so to speak. That is why Audrey's obit does not name a father. I know for a fact that Samuel was Audrey's father, because I had a conversation with her brother, Martin L. Walter (who was also Samuel's son) about 20 years ago and he named Audrey as his full sister.
