Obituary for Yolanda Lee Rose
Yolanda Lee Rose was born on October 8th, 1926 to Evans and Nora Fields in Talihina, Oklahoma. She was one of twelve children born in her family. She left to spend her eternal life with the Lord on August 21st. 2021 at the age of 94.
Yolanda grew up in Talihina and graduated from Talihina High School as her class Valedictorian. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Ralph Rose. The Fields and Rose family are both large families anchored by loving parents and a strong bond among the brothers and sisters. Family was so important to Yolanda and she loved being a part of both. She cherished the trips with her sisters and her nieces, JoRita and Jeaneen.
Yolanda and Ralph were blessed with four children, Diana, Kay Lynn, Sherry and Ronnie.
Yolanda was devout Christian and member of the Whitesboro Baptist Church for 73 years. The Church recognized her for her 58 years of service as the Church Treasurer as well as teaching Sunday School for 65 years. While in Sunday School, Yolanda believed her most important goal was to share, "God's Eternal Plan of Salvation," and for her students to leave her class with "Jesus in their Heart."
Yolanda also had a hobby that kept her busy and entertained. She loved selling Avon. She would quickly let you know that if it was from Avon, it was the best. Avon recognized her for 50 years of selling as the "Longest Surviving Saleslady in Oklahoma."

Preceding her in death was her husband Ralph and her daughter, Kay Lynn; parents, Evans and Nora Fields; brothers, Olen Fields, Nolan Fields, Frank Fields, Kenneth Fields, and Wendall Fields; sisters, Helen Fields, Juanita Gann, Jeanette Cook and Evelyn Dickson; great grandson, Carter Atteberry.

She is survived by; daughter, Diana Petty and husband Jerry of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Sherry Morgan and husband Devon of Newcastle, OK; son, Ronnie Rose and wife Glenda of Whitesboro, OK; grandchildren, Tommy Petty of Moore, OK, Kim Smith and husband Lesley of Moore, OK, Brandon Morgan of Newcastle, OK, Amber Atteberry and husband Chad of Tishimingo, OK, and Jerod Rose and wife Lauren of Whitesboro, OK; great - grandchildren, Karli Petty, Carson Petty, Kaitlyn Morgan, Kendal Smith, Kenady Smith, Haprer Atteberrry, Peyton Atteberry, Blakely Rose, and Parker Rose; one brother, John Fields and wife Carol of Arpelar; one sister, Judy Kight of Howe, TX; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Yolanda's favorite scripture that she taught to her Sunday School class was John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." That was her wish for everyone.
