Tom was born in Campbellsport, WI. He was the second child of 14 born to Roman and Marie Anders.
Tom graduated from Marquette University in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He married Kathleen Pogue in 1965. They resided in Milwaukee, WI. In 1972, they moved to Concord, CA. Tom and Kathy had four children together and mostly resided in Walnut Creek, CA. They divorced in 1996. In 2004, he married Barbara Langsdale. He had a successful career in sales. He retired in 2016. Tom and Barbara moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2019.
Tom enjoyed traveling, opera, winemaking, hiking, skiing, tennis, golf, visiting family, playing pickleball and bocce, and hosting wine tasting events.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, his children Kathryn (Robert) Schloegel, Eileen (Kristian) Korsgaard, Mike (Jessica) Anders, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nine brothers and three sisters.
He was predeceased by his son John and his sister Joan Wold.
A private burial service will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette, CA.
