John W Bower, 90, of Cottage St, Marion, died Saturday November 10, at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home in New Bedford. He was the husband of Anne (Newell) Bower of Marion, who also resides at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home.
He was born in Nova Scotia, and was an avid gardener with a love for both flowers and vegetables. He was an active member of the Marion Grange, Sippican Pomona, and the State and National Granges.
Survivors in addition to his wife include several nieces and nephews.
