Miss Grove was a telephone operator for the Greyhound Bus Lines for three years. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Bonnie D. Grove, and a sister, Miss Michelle Grove, both of Kansas City; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lula Grove of North Kansas City.
