HAZEL GREEN, Wis. -- Louise Anna Pollock, 77, of 2210 Main St., Hazel Green, died peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home, Cuba City, surrounded by her family.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, Hazel Green, with the Rev. Cy Weisensel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. today at the church. The Haudenshield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1930, in Dubuque, daughter of James and Anna (Fanslow) Thompson. She married Raymond W. Pollock on Oct. 6, 1948; he preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1996.

Louise worked at Burgess Battery Factory in Galena, Ill. She worked for 30 years at Eaton Corp. in Hanover, Ill.

Louise liked watching the Game Show Network, playing cards, dancing and polka dancing and music. She enjoyed the porch swing and loved her ice cream. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are four daughters and two sons, Evelyn Monahan, of Cuba City, Marcy (Terry) Yanna, of Belmont, Roxanne Pollock, of Hazel Green, Rose (Brian) Caley, of Platteville, Edward Pollock, of Hazel Green, and William Pollock, of California; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters and three brothers.
