Rhoda Culver McGee was born in Somerset Township, Michigan, on September 2, 1880.
She married Philo McGee on December 22, 1903, with the Reverend J. Monroe Wolfe officiating their wedding. The McGees were members of the Hanover Gospel Center, but after they moved to Vandercook Lake they joined the Baptist church there.
Philo and Rhoda had two sons: Lewis and Marion.
Upon reaching their 50th wedding anniversary, Philo and Rhoda became members of the Citizen Patriot Golden Wedding Club. The McGees remained married until Philo's death in 1960.
Mrs. McGee died in January 27, 1968. She was 87 years old.
