Born in Cincinnati OH, the eldest of the ten children of Joel Franklin and Matilda Ann (Rigg) Bellomy (aka Bellamy). The family moved from Ohio to Missouri by covered wagon about 1853-54. Their sixth child was born en route in KY June 1854.

Married: William Frederick Blazer 3/8/1867. William Frederick immigrated from Prussia, where he was born; his original name was Frederic Blazier.
Their children:
-Mary Louella (1869-1921 bur: Pitts Chapel Cem, #8537219, M: Woolard, seven children);
-William Frank (1871 - 1939 bur: Mt. Washington Cem, Independence MO: m: Sadie Orr)

obit: DEATH of MRS. W. F. BLAZER
Mrs. Amanda Almira Blazer, the wife of W. F. Blazer, died at the home of her son, Henry C. Blazer, several miles north of this city, on Tuesday, January 18, 1910. The deceased was nearly 69 years old.

The funeral was held at Pitts Chapel yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. L. F. Clark, pastor of the M.E. church, south of this city, and the burial was made in the cemetery at Pitts Chapel.

Mrs. Blazer was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 8 1841. She was married on March 28 1867, to W. F. Blazer who survives. Of this union six children were born, two of whom died in infancy and four are still living. She leaves also two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Blazer had been a member of the Methodist church since early girlhood.

Mrs. Amanda Almira Blazer died Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Henry C. Blazer, who lives on the Willett farm north of town. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at Pitts Chapel, burial being made in the cemetery at that place. Rev. Clark, pastor of the local South Methodist church of which she was a member, conducted the funeral services. Mrs. Blazer is survived by the husband, four children, two sisters and three brothers. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, March 8, 1841 being therefore more than 68 years old. She was married to W. F. Blazer March 28 1867.
