HARVEY, La. - Richard E. Dodge, 88, died Monday, Dec. 8, 1997, at his home of kidney failure.
Dodge was born in Rochester, N.H. and had lived in Harvey for the past 10 years.
Dodge was retired from the Maybury Shoe Company and was a member of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Seekins Dodge of Harvey; a son, Ret. LCDR Walter A. Dodge of Harvey; a daughter, S. Ruth Zaprzalka of Cayce, S.C.; four grandchildren, Laura Zimmerman of Rochester, N.H., Michael Zaprzalka of Fort Drum, N.Y., Nancy Strobel of Winfield, W.Va., and Kelly Durante of Harvey; and six great-grandchildren.
