Hartland – Ada P. Tweedie, 79, died April 15, 1999, at the Sebasticook Valley Hospital. She was born July 8, 1919, in Millinocket, the daughter of Almon and Edna (McLaughlin) Fuller.
Ada worked as a housekeeper for the Scott-Webb Memorial Hospital for several years. Later she was employed by Edwards Company for a brief period of time. Fo over 40 years, she resided in Hartland, where she had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed making afghans and doilies and loved solving crossword puzzles.
She was predeceased by her husband, John D. Tweedie in 1985 and by a sister, Ellen Fuller in 1994. She is survived by two sons two granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frederick Fuller of New Hampshire and Charles Fuller of Arizona; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 1999, at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland, with Mark Willey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hartland/St. Albans Ambulance Services, Hartland, ME 04943. Arrangements are with Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, 35 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield.
