Gary W. German, 63, of Monticello, IN, passed away at 11:09 AM on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN.

He was born on August 18, 1958 in Monticello, IN to the late Donald and Joyce (Hartke) German.

Gary was a lifelong Lutheran.

Gary graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1976 and received his bachelor degree in Construction Management from Purdue University in 1989. His first job was working with his father at Miller Mechanical in Monticello. After graduation, he worked as a senior project manager for Rudolph & Sletten, Inc. in California for many years and later worked for Turner Construction in Indianapolis. He was highly respected in his chosen profession. He enjoyed managing his investments. Gary especially cherished time with his family.

He is survived by his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Kelley (Jones) German; two children; two grandchildren; one brother; two nieces; and four great-nephews.

Graveside services will be on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Kellar officiating.
