James Macaulay, resident of Cohoes for 19 years, died at noon yesterday in Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, after a short illness. Born in Hurlford, Scotland, he came to the United States and directly to Cohoes 19 years ago. He was employed by the B. T. Babbitt Co. of Albany. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeanie Kilpatrick Macaulay; two sons, James R. and Fraser Macaulay of Cohoes; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Bollinger of Rensselaer, Miss Mary H. Macaulay, superintendent of Ellis Hospital, and Mrs. George H. McClellan of Sherrill, N.Y., and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the residence, 142 Simmons Ave. Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
