Del Wayne Goodwin, 62, of Exeter Township, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm in his residence. He was a loved husband to his wife Colleen M. (McCorry) Goodwin for over 38 years. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Goodwin was the son of Moteen (Pike) Goodwin and the late Mattey Goodwin. He was a graduate of Washington High School in Philadelphia and was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Roman Catholic Church in Douglassville. He was a retired Service Technician for Pella Window & Door Company in Sanatoga. He retired after over 30 years of service. Mr. Goodwin was an avid Philadelphia Sports Teams fan as well as a sport card collector. Most of all Mr. Goodwin enjoyed traveling with his family, especially his wife.
He is survived by his children Danielle Kaprielyan, wife of Christopher P. Kaprielyan; Timothy P. Goodwin; Aimee Stephan, wife of Jason Stephan; Wayne Goodwin; his grandchildren Alyanah, Noah, Mackenzie, Kaylee, Averi, Alexis, Caleb, Addisyn, and Bryce. Mr. Goodwin is also survived by his siblings Anthony Goodwin; Donna Thompson, wife of Charles Thompson; Rita Wilson, wife of Dan Wilson and Diane Sullivan, wife of Edward Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Goodwin and Sister Debra Goodwin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception BVM Roman Catholic Church 905 Chestnut Street, Douglassville, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 am. Reverend Monsignor John B. McCann, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Immaculate Conception BVM Roman Catholic Church Saturday 9:00 am to 9:45 am.
