Walter "Pat" Ryan, 72, died Dec. 16, 2005, in Fort Pierce.
He was born in Frederick, Okla., and lived in Fort Pierce since 1958, coming from Oklahoma.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He retired from the Coast Guard in 1968. He also was a mechanic in the agriculture industry for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Black Ryan of Fort Pierce; son, Robert T. Ryan of Fort Pierce; daughter, Tammy E. Ryan of Fort Pierce; brothers, James Buddy Ryan of Lexington, Ky., and George Ryan of Houston; sisters, Lahoma Bandy of Waurika Lake, Okla., and Mary Ellen Tivis of Dallas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 21 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in White City Cemetery.
