Violet Theresa (Polejewski) Anderson, 90, of Hawley, Minnesota, was born on November 8, 1930, in Orleans, MN, to Frank Anton and Helen Masloski Polejewski. She passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021, at Sunnyside Care Center in Lake Park, Minnesota.

Violet was a woman of simple pleasures. God was first in her life and not a day went by that she didn't feel blessed and grateful. She found joy in the small things we take for granted like and occasional Kentucky Fried Chicken meal or a Dairy Queen float. She had a wonderful sense of humor (some would say occasionally "wicked").

She loved watching game shows and playing games with friends, especially Yatzee. But most of all, she enjoyed and was enjoyed by the company she was with. She will be missed.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Anderson, and her parents, Frank and Helen.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa 'Teri' Anderson; sisters, Mary Hanson and Joanne (John) Bisik; brother, Leonard Polejewski; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN. Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Lake Park, MN.
