Jeraldyne Edna Borah, 91, passed away Sunday February 26th at the home of her son Richard in Twin Falls.

Jerry was born February 25, 1926 in Twin Falls, Idaho to George Oliver and Minnie Myrtle Carlson. She was the fourth of six children.

She spent her first three years in Twin Falls and at the beginning of the Great Depression moved back to her mother and father's birthplace in Manson, Iowa. When she reached age eleven, the family moved back to Twin Falls. She attended Twin Falls High School and at the age of sixteen she married Everett Borah on November 17, 1942. Everett worked in the Aviation Plant in Southern California. When Everett went into the Army in 1943, she moved back to Twin Falls to live out the war with her parents.

At the end of the war, Jerry moved with Everett to Meridian, Idaho and in 1947 Jerry gave birth to their first of four boys, Keith Edwin Borah. In 1950 Everett was employed by the Idaho Power Company and moved to Twin Falls where their next three sons, Douglas, Richard and James were born and raised. Jerry was a devoted wife, mother and home maker. Like most wives of the greatest generation, her work never seemed to be done. For relaxation she would make rugs, crochet, knit, needle point and many other crafts. Even into her last months she kept busy which can be seen by all her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren of which all have received an afghan for their cribs and beds.

Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Oliver, George, Art and Keith Carlson, and a sister Ann Coburn. Also, her husband Everett Borah and sons Keith and Douglas Borah.
Jerry is survived by her sons Richard (Cherie) Borah of Twin Falls, Idaho and James Borah of Boise, Idaho.
Grandchildren Cassie (Brian) Collins of Meridian, Cara (Dennis) Kaler of Boise, Zach (Crystal) Borah of Boise, Mathew Borah of Boise, Michael Borah of Boise and Kyle Borah of Boise. Kevin (Elizbeth) Copp and Carrie (Jason) Neely of Twin Falls.
