Our beautiful mother, Helene Adelle Albert, age 90, of Heath, died Friday night, September 3, 2021 at Arlington Nursing Home in Heath.

Helene was born October 28, 1930 in Shelby to the late Harry and Helen (Flegm) Knapp. She was a 1948 graduate of Shelby High School. Helene spent her career working at Shelby Mutual Insurance, The Brickley Restaurant, and then the "Tuby" for 10 years. Helene grew up in the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, where she was a member.

Helene was known for her tender heart and caring nature. She was a caregiver to many family members and several members of the local community, even caring for the Turner children for many years when they were younger. Helene was a hard worker and cared a lot about the people in her community.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Amy (Jim) Brown of Dublin and Julie (Gary) Fellure of Heath; grandchildren: Rusty (Jessica Mackey) Fellure of Heath and Justin (Cassie) Fellure of Crestview, FL; great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Aubrielle, Emelynn, and Abrahm; and two sisters in law: Jean Knapp of Mansfield and Pat Knapp of Shelby; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul J. "X" Albert; two daughters: Paula Albert and Colleen Albert; an infant grandson: Talford Fellure; and siblings: Charles Knapp, Wanda Weber, Howard Knapp, Marjorie May, Kay Ewalt, and John Knapp.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Penwell Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30 am. Rev. O. Douglas Tackett will officiate and burial follow in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylortown Community Church.
