Deacon Stanley R. Olshevski, age 75, died
Tuesday, November 27, 2007.
Originally from Quakertown, Bucks County, PA, and a graduate of Drexel University. Resident of Willingboro since 1969, he was very active in Willingboro American Division Little League baseball with his sons during the 1970's. He was an avid lifelong fan of all Philadelphia sports teams.
A U.S Army veteran, he served his country in Korea. "Stano" was operations manager for All-In-One Linen Outlet on High Street in Burlington from 1976 until the store closed in the 90's.
He was ordained a deacon in 1991 and served at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church in Willingboro. He ministered to the sick at home and in hospitals and was greatly appreciated by all he served.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Mildred (nee Shatt); four sons and three daughters-in-law, Steven and Jennifer, Brian, Philip and Elaine and Matthew and Lisa; six grandchildren, Natalie, Andrew, Stuart, Hannah, Olivia and Lucas; one brother, George Olshevski and other relatives and dear friends.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM, Saturday at the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Sunset and Charleston Roads, Willingboro. Relatives and friends may call 7 to 9 PM, Friday and 11 AM, Saturday at the church. Entombment will be in St. Paul Mausoleum in Burlington.
