Janet Ruth Bosnak (Barrette), 68, of Walled Lake, Mich. passed away suddenly in her home on March 24, 2012. Born June 3, 1943 in Cheboygan. Preceded in death by her parents Albert and Bernice Barrette of Cheboygan.
Survived by her brothers William (Norma) Barrette, Gerald (June) Barrette, and Donald (Patti) Barrette, along with many nieces and nephews.
Janet was a long-time resident of New Port Richey Fla. where she was self-employed as a certified nurse's aide. An animal lover and pet advocate, she often rescued and cared for both wild and domestic animals. Janet enjoyed gardening, movies and photography.
She will be laid to rest in Cheboygan with a private family ceremony. Donations can be made in Janet's behalf to The Michigan Humane Society. Cheboygan Daily Tribune (MI) April 20, 2012.
