He left a business career to found Word of Life Association. In 1988, he began traveling overseas conducting pastor's conferences, and evangelistic meeting in Ghana and Honduras. He was as a long time member and elder at Mt. Paran North Church of God in Marietta, and over the past several years, he was a regular attendee and supporter at Mt Bethel Methodist Church in Marietta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Victor Clark of Columbus, GA and Mary Ellen Clark Draper of Jacksonville, FL; and older brother, Victor Patrick Clark of Columbus, GA. He leaves his wife of forty-nine years, Donna Hunnicutt Clark; son, Jay Clark (Julie) of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Candace Brasfield (Robert) of Sandy Springs, GA; grandchildren, Cole Clark, Kinsey Clark, Lizzie Brasfield, and Clark Brasfield; brothers, Ron Clark (Nancy) of Bogart, GA and Jimmy Clark of Hamilton, GA; and sister, Mary Ann Ray (Danny) of St. Augustine, FL.
