Carter, Christine Marie, "Chris" "Little Flower" age 63 of Dayton, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at Riverside Nursing Home. She was born May 31, 1953 to the late Leo and Elizabeth Carter. Chris graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. She attended the school at the Dayton Art Institute and was a lover of art, and enjoyed the Living Arts Center. Little Flower was passionate about Native American Art and Indian Culture. She is survived by her brother Jim Carter and his wife Catherine Mauser, 3 nieces Anna Mauser-Martinez (Jon Wlasiuk) of Cleveland, OH, Natalie Mauser-Carter of Austin, TX, Lilly Mauser-Carter of Brooklyn, NY, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, December 26, 2016 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. with services to follow at 6pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton in Chris's memory.
