Donald Clifford Morris Sr. passed away unexpectedly May 13, 2017 at the age of 88 years 9 months in New Hope, MN. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn, sons Charles (Pat) and Donald Jr. (Kathy), daughter Kimberly, grandchildren Benjamin, Chris, Jim (Jamie), Melissa (Steve), Eric and Jenny. Seven great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Sue Knuckey, brothers-in-law John Knuckey and Clifford Eastvold, numerous nieces and nephews.

Don retired from General Mills Research as shop superintendent after 41 years of service. He and Marilyn traveled the world together with Friendship Force of Minnesota and enjoyed lasting friendships with the people they met. They had many happy times square dancing, camping, spending winters in Florida.

Don was a family man who enjoyed his time at the cabin in Duluth with his family around him. He was a loving and giving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

A gathering of relatives and friends will celebrate and honor the memory of Don and his life Saturday September 2nd at 11:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1108 E. 8th St., Duluth, MN. Interment at Town Cemetery Grand Lake Township, Twig, Mn.
