Miss Adams, of Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, had only been working at the hotel for three weeks. She was described as popular and fun-loving.

Miss Adams was interested in music and performing arts but took a job as a hotel receptionist to help her mother out financially.

Her mother Sarah Adams said: "Every single person I love and care about is carrying the burden of incredible grief."

She had separated from her boyfriend Tad Finney but they had got back together at the time of her death.

Miss Adams was looking forward to taking the trip of a lifetime to see her aunt Kathryn get married in Hawaii and was due to fly out a week after the killing.

The family of Alice Adams, a hotel receptionist who was found stabbed to death along with her colleague Tibor Vass, in Harlington have said her spirit will live on forever and have described how she 'touched the hearts of everyone she met'.

In a statement, Miss Adams' family said: 'Alice touched the hearts of everyone she ever met.

Alice and Tibor Vass, both 20, were found dead at a house in Harlington in west London on Wednesday.

They both died of multiple stab wounds, Miss Adams suffering 22 stab wounds and Mr Vass two stab wounds.

They both used to work together as receptionists at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow Hotel.

Attila Ban, 31, a Hungarian national of New Road, Harlington, was remanded in custody when he appeared at West London Magistrates' Court on Saturday, charged with the double murder. He also worked as a receptionist at the hotel.

Ban was found guilty of murder, he was sentences to 26 years for the deaths of Adams and Vass
