Viola E. "Betty" Hoff, 78, of Ravenwood Health Care Center in Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on Tues., Oct. 6, of natural causes at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. She was born on Dec. 12, 1913, in Ida Grove, Iowa, to David and Ida (Doud) Lincoln. She married John Hoff in Feb. 1936 in Lancaster, Mo. He died in 1976. Survivors include a daughter, Louise Dawson of Waterloo; two sons, LeRoy of Waterloo and Larry of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Lavena Hoffstetter of Searsboro; and two brothers, Bill Lincoln of Mitchellville, Iowa, and Roger Lincoln of Grinnell, Iowa. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
