Byron Keith Moores, 60, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born September 16, 1960, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Clarence Arlen Moores and Mollie Sue Dunaway Moores. Byron was retired from Walmart in Nicholasville and was a member of Jessamine Christian Church. Survivors include his mother Mollie Sue Moores, a daughter, Courtney Moores Pewitt (Patrick), brother, Miles Moores (Cathy), sisters, Kathy Preston and Linda Horton (Jackie Corman), five nieces and one nephew special friend and caregiver, Crystal Clarkston, and special friend, Kris Harris and family. He was preceded in death by a niece, Bethany Preston Floyd. Services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 10, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Wally Rendel officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Friday. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Ryan Preston, Kent Hall, Bill Cox, Chip Bruner, David Grose and Michael Fisher
