MOTHER OF SEVEN CHILDREN DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Mrs. Frank Buchheit Passed Away Saturday Evening

A death of unusual sadness occurred in our midst Saturday evening at five o'clock with the passing away of Rinnie Mae, wife of Frank Buchheit, Jr., at the family home on Hall Avenue, leaving behind seven children, ranging in age from a babe of six months to the eldest, who is but fourteen years old.

Although not in the best of health for the past six months, she was not confined to bed until last Monday, previous to which time she was able to attend to her household duties.

Apparently not seriously ill, no change for the worse was noted until early Saturday morning when she began to sink rapidly and within twelve hours her eyes were closed in death. She realized the end was near, and retaining consciousness until the last, conversed with members of the family, who had gathered around her bedside. Her death is attributed to a combination of diseases.

Mrs. Buchheit was born at Oswayo, Potter County, Penna., September 2, 1892, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Martin and she was approaching her 33rd birthday.

She was educated in the public schools at that place and at the age of eighteen came to St. Marys where she was married on April 21, 1910 to Frank Buchheit, Jr.

Seven children, all boys, were born of this union, Louis, John, Richard, Andrew, Leon, Bernard and Walter, all of whom survive as do her husband and father, her mother having died some years ago.

The deceased was a devout Christian, a member of the Rosary Society, Sacred Heart Church and also a member of the St. (unreadable) Court No. 95 C.D. of A. Members of these two organizations will attend her funeral in a body.

Funeral services for the deceased will be conducted from the Sacred Heart Church tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 9 o'clock.

According to the records of the St. Mary's Catholic Church she converted from Methodist to Catholic to marry Frank. Her baptism record shows she was baptized "Irene Regina"
