Age 70 of Grey Eagle, Minnesota, passed away unecpectedly on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Centra Care Hospital in Melrose, Minnesota.

Leroy Bernard Ahrens, was born on December 2, 1950 in Sauk Center, Minnesota to Norbert Ahrens and Caroline (Carrie) Boeckermann Ahrens.

Leroy was united in marriage to Marque Harms, (daughter of Thomas and Phyllis Harms, of Grey Eagle, Minn.), on February 20th, 1971 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Grey Eagle, Minnesota, in which he was a member. Leroy was a Trucker by trade, and trucked for at least 50 years, blessed be his memory.

Leroy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed ice fishing, hunting deer, bear, and elk, taking trips to Canada, gambling, watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, and loved giving everyone a nickname.

Survivors include his wife of Grey Eagle, Minnesota, Marque Ahrens.
Children; Jeff and Catherine Ahrens, Lori and Jim Dreger, Jamie and Sophia Ahrens and Lisa and Curtis Rousan, 11 grand children and 5 great grand children, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Brothers and sisters; Anna Graves, Jane Schultz, John Ahrens and Joe Ahrens, and many other relatives and friends.

Leroy will be missed by all who knew him.

Leroy was proceeded in death by, his parents, Norbert and Caroline, his brother, Robert, and his sister, Joyce Ahrens Revering.
