EGELHOFF. The remains of Harry K. Egelhoff who died in Springfield, Ohio hospital on Feb 8 arrived in our city Saturday morning and were taken to the home of his parents, Mr and Mrs George Egelhoff. Harry Egelhoff was a former Jerseyville boy, being born in this city Aug 1,1870, attending the local public schools and later working in the large carriage factory operated here by his father at that time. On Nov 19, 1894 he was united in marriage with Miss Sadie Hill and about ten years ago left for the eastern part of our country. The past three of four years he spent at Springfield, Ohio where he took sick and died. Funeral services were conducted at St Francs Xavier Church Monday morning at 9 o'clock Rev Father J.J. Clancy officiating, followed by interment at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Decedent is survived by the aged parents, three brothers, George Egelhoff, Fred Egelhoff of Texas and Nic Egelhoff of San Francisco, Calif; two sisters, Mrs Frank Smith of Minneapolis, Minn and Miss Alice Egelhoff of our city, besides numerous more distant relatives and friends. Among those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs L. Tucker of Chicago and Mrs Will Egelhoff of Oakland, Calif and son W.P. Egelhoff of St Louis.
