"A wide circle of friends in the port area were today mourning the death of Albert E. Burton who passed away late yesterday in a Los Angeles Hospital.
He resided here at 1449 Marine avenue. Besides his wife, Kate M., he leaves a son, Robert C., also of Wilmington.
Mr. Burton was a member of the Spanish War Veterans, Sawtelle Camp, and Forresters Lodge.
Services will be conducted by the Spanish War Veterans tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Mottell's Chapel, Third and Alamitos avenue, Long Beach. Interment will follow in Sawtelle Soldiers Cemetery."
