Funeral services for Jack Dixon Carroll, 56. of Midland were to be today in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
A resident of Midland since 1962, he died Friday in a Houston hospital. He had been in poor health for several years.
Jack was born May 19, 1913 in Blocton, Alabama and was a former resident of Dallas and San Angelo.
He is survived by two sons, Sydney Dixon Carroll and Michael Grady Carroll, both of Midland; a brother, Sid Carroll of Memphis, Tennessee; and two grandchildren.
