Survived by mother, Flora O'Neal; husband of 38 years, Walt Burchfield (since deceased); daughter, Terrye Tebbetts (John); granddaughter, Kas Tebbetts; stepdaughter, Sherry Palmer; grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Palmer.

Alice was co-founder and co-owner of Dallas Piano Warehouse where she was an active and integral part of the business since 1979.

Affectionately known as "Grammy" by her grandchildren, she especially enjoyed reading time.

She also enjoyed her membership and involvement at Lakepoint Baptist Church where she served for over 15 years.

Alice's last home, with husband Walt, was on Laurel Oaks Drive in the Oakridge Edition in the western part of Garland (Texas).

Services were held Friday morning, September 13, 2002 at Restland Wildwood Chapel (Dallas, Tx) with graveside services that afternoon at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba, TX. Open visitation was on Thursday evening.
