Funeral services for Tommy Glenn Deel, 52, of Alba were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mineola, with Jim Nahas officiating.

Burial was in Salem Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearer was Mike Rushing.

Mr. Deel passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at ETMC-Quitman.

He was born on November 10, 1952, in Leonard.

He lived all of his life in Alba.

He was a truck driver and was a self-made man.

He did a little bit of everything.

He was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Mineola.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Paula Sue Sherwood Deel; parents, father and wife, Tommy and Cecil Deel of Yantis; mother and husband, Nell and Bill Roberts of Alba; son, Bryan and wife Billie Jo Deel of Alba; daughter, Melissa Deel of Huntsville; sister, Ginger Sweeden of Alba; brothers, Mark Deel of Emory, and Scotty Deel currently serving overseas in the navy; grandparents, Otis and Ethel Taylor of Alba; and one grandchild.
