He decided to follow his mother into nursing, and completed his RN degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2003. He worked over eight years as a inpatient oncology nurse at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Beginning in 2013, he worked as a travel nurse consultant with Passport Health until his passing from a sudden heart attack.
He was an active member of the Arundel Vocal Arts Society (AVAS).
Ted touched every life that he came in contact with. He had a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help anyone in need, without being asked. He was loved by everyone that knew him, and he is going to be missed by all.
He is survived by his sister Margie Milisitz, of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Geraldine (Geri) Dubois, of Severna Park, MD; niece, Christine Collins, of Severna Park, MD; nephews, John Milisitz, Jamie Dubois and Jay Dubois; great-nieces, Sydney Milisitz, Camdyn Milisitz and Kiersten Dubois; great-nephews, John Charles Milisitz and Mark Milisitz.
