Doris May Adelman (nee Edmondson), 90, of Randolph, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Alliance, Ohio. Doris was born May 7, 1931, in Akron, Ohio to Otha Edmondson and Erva Edmondson (nee Murdock). Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Walter H. Adelman, who passed in 1998. Doris was preceded in death by brothers Cleburne (Al) Edmondson, Dudley Edmondson, Harold Edmondson, and sister Margaret Melinger. Survivors include sons: Denny (Jean), Larry, Gary (Karen), Mike (Peggy), David (Kim). Doris loved spending time with her grandkids, Chelsea, Jeff (Kasey), Dan (Taylor), Keith (Megan), Neal (Lindsey) Travis, Colby, and her four great-grandkids; Logan, Landon, Quinn, and Carter. Doris was an avid reader and an astute euchre player. After relocating from Akron in 1952, Doris spent her remaining years in Randolph, OH and was a member of St. Joseph Parish. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at St. Joseph Church, Randolph, Ohio from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christina Burial, officiated by Rev. James Lang, at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
