Calvin Pierce Bowker of Pemberton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, NJ. He was 83 years of age.
Born in Pemberton, he has resided there for the past forty-five years. A former Dairy Farmer in the Pemberton area, Calvin was a founding member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pemberton.
He is the beloved husband of Amanda Ruth (nee Fort) Bowker of Pemberton, NJ and the loving father of Franklin F. Bowker and his wife Kay
of Lumberton, NJ. He is also survived by his brother, Howard Bowker of Delran, NJ; his sister, Myrtle Short of Marco Island, FL and his grandchildren, Pierce E. and Erin E. Bowker, both of Lumberton, NJ. He is the father of the late Calvin Bowker, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church, 5 Scrapetown Rd., Pemberton, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in the Vincentown Baptist Cemetery in Vincentown, NJ.
Funeral arrangements are by the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ, 609-953-7600.
