Mark married Nancy Johnston on July 2, 1976 in Houston, Texas. He was a metal fabricator and an electrician and although he worked various jobs, he settled at Union Tank for approximately 15 years until he went on disability and then retired.
He enjoyed going to church with his wife and spending time with his brothers and sisters in Christ. He could always be found at the hardware store or outside working with his hands. He loved woodworking projects and completing necessary repairs around the house with his carpentry and handyman skills. He also loved teaching his boys about his craft when the opportunity presented itself. He enjoyed bass fishing with his boys and his friends. But above all, he enjoyed being with his wonderful wife Nancy, who he loved more than anything in this world.
Mark is survived by his wife, Nancy Abston; sons, Mark Abston, Jr. and Melissa Abston, and Billy Abston and Jaqueline Abston; grandchildren, Noah Abston, Neveah Armstrong, Dakota Armstrong, Gage Bartley, Teya Bartley, Carter Bragg, and Anden Bragg.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Abston; mother, Peggy Abston; sisters, Lisa Abston and Angie Abston; and brother Jeff Abston.
